While I had my Surgery on June 7 after being DX T3N1M0 back in Jan and here are my results, Clear Margins, they removed 14 lymph nodes and one came back positive. I will start chemo in 4 weeks and be put on Trastuzumab every 21 days for 10 months is this normanl?. Not sure what is worse not having a clear margins or one node out of 14.

I had a positive node and follow up chemotherapy
Like you I had clear margins but one of the 21 nodes they removed in surgery was positive. I had 18 weeks of follow up chemotherapy using three drugs, Cisplatin, Epirubicin, and 5 FU. I received Cisplatin and Epirubicin every 21 days and wore a personal medication pump that delivered 5 FU 24/7 during the chemotherapy period.
It was not fun; but it was survivable, and so far I have had clear scans since. I had my surgery in November of 2009.
Two things to remember, you had clear margins and the affected node is out of your body.
