First good PET
My radiation onc just called to tell me my PET scan results were very good. All activity was normal, former cancer areas were gone and warm spots were due to the radiation treatments. During my visit next week she would like me to visit with the dietician to see if we could improve my (eating) diet. I thought today’s smoothie was here too stay.
Besides those closest to me and my treatment I want to thank all of you for the unflinching help you have provided with your heartfelt threads. I am humbled and taken back everyday when I read your stories.
Most graciously yours,
Matt

Good Morning Everyone,
Thanks for (all) the words of encouragement. Each of us bare our souls here and relive the ultimate scariest moments of our lives over and over again. It is through your pain and insight (and my wife’s) that my perspective over this “new normal” is bearable.
Thanks and blessings,

Thanks Nick770,
You got it, big relief. Luckily the rad onc didn’t keep us hanging when she called.
How are treatments going for you? Must be getting interesting about now.
I think of the newest newbies often.
