Best news I've had in a year!!!

Hello Pink Sisters..

Just a little while ago I received the best news I've had in over a year! Got the results of my tumor markers...in Feb. They were 98...which is when my scans showed the brain spots, spot on my liver, progression of some nodes and some stable...well they ran the numbers twice to make sure they got the same results...they are now 34 !!!!!! NORMAL according to my oncologist! Means the brain rads did their thing.....and the Avastin and Carboplatin has worked.....mainly the Avastin.....thank God my once was able to get me on it since the FDA pulled it in Jan. For stageIV bc... have to admit that my tears were tears of joy!! We hugged and I couldn't say thank you enough! He said well your the one who's done the hard work....And now they are going to increase the dosage of the Carbo , the Avastin only comes in a certain dose... So i only have to have chemo now every 3 weeks instead of every 2 weeks....WHEW lots to take in...

Wanted to share my good news...
