Just wondering who else gets their treatment at Tx Oncology

    UT Southwestern Simmons Cancer Center in Dallas
    I have Uterine Cancer and get treatment at UT Southwestern in Dallas. A co worker of mine has Overian Cancer and went there too. We both still go for 3 month check ups.

    I went to UT Southwestern in Dallas before I was diagnosed and I was seeing a bunch of drs trying to figure out what I had. Thats a really nice hospital.

    Yes it is and the gyn/onc drs have been great.
    My regular gyn dr was at St. Paul Professional building accross the street from UT is the one that did the D&C then the labs came back with uterine cancer cells. She called April Fools Day last year to tell me there were cancer cells but that her office was calling a gyn/onc dr at the Simmons cancer center and I had an appointment on 4 Apr with surgery 8 April. UT is the only NCI recognized cancer center in the Dallas area and because it is a teaching hospital there are lots of drs to consult with. Good Luck with TX Ongology. If you need a second opinion the Gyn/Onc Dr I went to is a female and is Dr. Jaynith Lea and is very nice and takes time to answer all questions. trish

    I have been seeing a Dr. at Medical City Hospital. My last chemo treatment was yesterday and I had an alergic reaction to the carboplatin.(sp) I am getting more worried.

    I go to medical city too.
    I go to medical city too. The first time I got chemo I got taxol and carboplatin and I had a reaction so they increased my benedryl dose. I think it was the taxol though that gave me the reaction. Good luck with your next treatment. :)
