Anyone experience major cold sweats?

My husband is a little over two months post treatment and is experience cold sweats on and off usually in the evening before bed. He gets cold and his body breaks out in a cold sweat. There is no fever and otherwise he seems to be doing okay.

    Sweats
Might be his body re-adjusting to the new normal. Temp is typically a Thyroid issue. A word of caution, though, that I've heard the night sweats are a sign of C. Know I experienced such a number of times in the months before the two neck glands got big, and it turns-out it was an early sign. Would advise your husband to take this info in stride, and do check-ups and future scans accordingly. Again, though, it might be more of a Thyroid issue, and nothing to get upset about. There's a blood test that they do to detect Thyroid issues, and might be in order for him.

    I would
I would get bone chilling cold--no sweats. I would have to get under extra covers and wrap a fleece blanket over my head, it finally stopped. Blood work doesn't show any thyroid problem, yet.

    cold sweats
    Hello !
I still get these 6 months out of rad., have asked and told it was just my body adjusting...I also am on synthroid for replacement (had graves disease 30yrs ago) and this could be a symptom too. As far as C-word goes...yes was told is a symptom too..but I totally think blah to that ! More than that it's still his body adjusting to his new normal. Hope it all gets better soon, and enjoy the summer guys ! Katie

My internal thermostat is totally broken....
I am cold all the time....it's June, and I'm still wearing my silk long johns I donned last November. I don't get the sweats, but the bone chilling cold that KT talks about, I suffer from every single day.

I am just about 2 months out
I am just about 2 months out from chemo and IMRT, and 1 month out of brachytherapy. I have been getting serious hot flashes then cold. It's crazy, I did read that the treatment can cause these side effects. If you are overly concerned you should contact your CA Dr. that is what they are there for to answer your questions. Just don't be afraid to ask.
