Chemo Today
At Jefferson today getting second infusion, more tomorrow. Hopeful that I don't end up pulling the shenanigans I did last month which ended up with me getting admitted for a few days.
They are thinking that they may skip the Neulasta shot on day three which they think was the culprit. Getting Bendamustine. No Rituxan (I'm allergic)
Thinking positive and have my support with me. Today my husband and even my brother (who is here from Florida!) Very nice.
Hope you are all doing well today. Think of you all every day.
Hugs,
Donna

Update
Hi everyone,
Had day two of chemo (Bendamustine) yesterday. No Neulasta for me today! We are going to see how I feel and how my blood work looks next week. If my neutrophils are too low she'll have me come in for a shot. If platelets or RBC go too low I'll need a transfusion. Praying that none of that happens. I had a red rash on my neck yesterday and then it left. It's back a bit today- just watching it. That was how my allergic reaction to Rituxan started so I need to watch it with that one.
I'm very tired, more tired than I've ever been in my life. Swollen all over especially shows by my eyes. And today I'm hoarse. All side effects - no big deal. So I'm resting and getting spoiled by my husband and daughter.
She's the newlywed. Came home last night and is staying with me until Saturday night. Wow am I blessed!!
Hugs and prayers to all of you,

Hey Donna and thanks for the post.
You deserve to be spoiled . Hope the side effects
subside soon and lessen as you progress.
Listen to your body and rest all you need.

Hi Donna,
Keeping my fingers and toes crossed for "no shot" and "no transfusion"...and...for the rash to go away for good!!! You just rest and keep peaceful, and let anyone spoil you that wants to. We can all use a little spoiling from time to time. Thanks so much for keeping us updated. Love...Sue
