in Ovarian Cancer #1
I just got my CA125 and it is "7" It has been 4 yrs and 3 months since DX...
I "lurk" here on the board put don't post very often.

    Good for you! Hope you have conquered the beast forever!! I'm a stage 3c also. Just curious, what type is your cancer. Mine is serous pappillary.

    I do not know what kind of ovarian cancer I have ...we did get pathology report in
    2008 put I didn't want to know what it said.....I will have to see if I still have it.
    I might be mentally strong enough to look at it..LOL

    I am not sure.
    I usually wait for the results in the mail because I hate making that phone call. I don't know if my onc will call me with the results this time. When I do call I always have to wait two days. If she doesn't call me tomorrow, I will get the results at my six-month checkup which coincidentally is on Friday. I am holding up well. I might be more nervous tomorrow anticipating a call. I am going on a hike in the morning with my Cancer Support group, then I have a haircut appointment. I usually go shopping after my haircut since I am in San Jose.

    Carla,
    I don't have any advice....I don't do anything special as far as diet. I try to keep a positive attitude and laugh a lot. BUT I worry,stress, and have bad days like everyone else..I just try not to be too hard on myself when it happens....and remember there is always,always,always something to be thankful for.
