    Natural dyes
6 months after Chemo. If you do it earlier residual from chemo may interfere , however it is worth to try
    Good luck

    I color
I colored my hair after about 4 months after my first cancer. I had to wait for it to get long enough to color. I think it was about an inch or two. There are so many different studies on these things. I say just do it if you want to, its your life. If it makes you happy why not. Life is too short to worry about things like that.

    Yes..
Mine came back salt & pepper, so I colored it as soon as I could. I did use organic color the first time - I have heard the regular color might not turn out right due to the chemo still in your system. My hair is now almost 3 inches long and now use the normal coloring.

I am on chemo and dying my hair again. I was tired of looking 20 years older than I am. I started on Navelbine in November and started dying my hair the beginning of April, it is now about 2 inches on top.

I can't believe how much better I look and feel with color again. Asked the onco and he said go for it if it makes you feel better so I did and feel so much better.

    Jamie Lee Curtis
I have the Jamie Lee Curtis look and loving my short sexy gray hair. It looks like it has been highlighted! Took some getting used to it, but I get so many compliments on it I decided to keep it. Never had short hair before but I can't stand that awkward growing out so I guess I am short forever now!

    I'm with you
My hair was my pride and joy - my whole life. I was extremely distressed (to say the least) that I was going to lose my hair with chemo. I cried alot!! When my hair started coming back, I rejoiced! Lo and behold - my hair started coming in white with some gray in the back. What a shock! Funny thing is - I like it! I've evolved from that women who wanted to hide with her head in a sack. My one distinguishing feature was my blond hair - always! I've actually gotten more compliments since it's grown out than in years before - most of them from people who didn't know me before. I also like it short - how wonderful not to have to fuss with it - wash, gel and I'm outta here! I'm not who I was before and I earned every one of these hairs!

You are whoever you want to be - do whatever feels right!

    Hugs to you all!

    Still no hair!
My last chemo was April 19 and I see NO SIGN of hair coming back. Should I worry?
