I went to get my port totally relaxed....Ingrid K said:ONE FREAKOUT ALLOWED...lol
tuff, WE ALL HAD AT LEAST ONE FREAKOUT...now you can concentrate on getting that strength back and fight. It sucks, but it is doable..and someday it will just be a vague memory. Wish you the best of luck.
thinking this is no big deal....and ended up in the hospital for a week with a punctured lung...I wouldn't have told you that till I knew yours was in and feeling fine. I was that one in a million, they warn about before they put one in. Gave me a great rest tho, before starting the treatments.

Phrannie51,
Unfortunate for me 2 in a million. My PICC was installed ok, but the PEG was an ordeal. Along with the PEG was a colonoscopy to check out something our (friend) the PET scan saw. A case of Ileus and 12 days in the hospital later, I was ready for rads and chemo.
So, tuffenuff you are okay and ready.
