Since so few make it this far,I had to tell you that today I have been married to the love of my life for 55 years!!!

    What's the secret for you and your love.....we need details!!! Since you may be the "eldest" here, we like to hear words of wisdom and of experience.

    (Keep on enjoying each other, you've got 17 years to catch up with my parents.....yup....17 more, and beyond....

    I think the secret is to really make the commitment. Thus you accept the low spots knowing better days are ahead. If I can match
    your parents I'll be 97,so rather unlikely.

    Danker, I just met someone who is 105! He was peppy as heck, put me to shame. Congratulations! 55 years is amazing!

    So very happy for your and your wife's success at reaching 55 years.

    My folks will be celebrating 68 years later this month.

    It is hard work to stay married.

    Are you doing something special to celebrate? Many good restaurants in Tucson, or you could go to Gates Pass and watch the sunset.
    Or maybe just give her 55 kisses tonight.
