1st Petscan 2 months post treatment

My husband had his first followup petscan yesterday. We go tomorrow at 9:40 for results. Nervous, but optimistic as are doctors. Please pray for NED, NED, NED!
Thank you.

    Should Be...
Should be good to go, but it is still early.... Just remember that if it is less than perfect, the first and early first especially, can still show some residual from the rads.

So hopefully you won't have to be concerned and you'll get your NED.

    Best,
    JG

    good PET
    Hi dclear14,

Good luck on the best of PET scans. I too, make the journey for my first PET scan next Friday (12weeks post). This is a never ending hurry-up and wait game.

    Alls clear,

    Matt

    and mojo sent!

I had a false positive early on from residual activity, but doc went back in to biopsy and there wasn't anything there. So as noted, don't freak if that should happen (I know, easier said than done).

I had (yet another) one done last week and go in Wed. for results.
