Update on Dad/no real answers
I guess there isn't much of a point to this post, but to get it off my chest. Thanks for listening.

What ever helps
If the point of your post is to off load and that helps then there is a point! NEver under estimate the value of having some where neutral and noncritical to dump all your crap so you can go back and be a caring daughter to your dad.
Every little bit helps,

so frustrating
I know how you feel....waiting for answers and getting the run around. The Dr should just from the beginning tell us we'll give you the results at your next appointment. Then that should be clear. Waiting is bad too so maybe they could move up their date. Pray all is good. Jeff0 -
Yep can be frustrating
but generally speaking, doctors do not give results over the phone. When they do it in person then all questions can be answered and he can give you a more thorough explanation of the findings and what is seen on the scan.
Try not to dwell on it and make yourself crazy for it changes nothing and you will find out soon enouch.

Feel free to unload!!! I can understand the frustration. I personally would like the results over the phone, so I can quietly digest whatever the news is on my own, quietly, by myself and think about what my next move is, search options whatever. I HATE HATE HATE the face the face waiting for the oncologist to tell me results....I cannot think and digest what I need to at that point in time...once I enter the Cancer Center my brain seems to be sucked into this vaccuum and I cannot function till I walk out of that building!!! Sorry, I'm unloading now too...just I understand your frustration....wish you all well on this journey and please keep us posted.0
