Finished chemo today and other news !!
I'm done with chemo for Triple Neg IDC BC!!! I finished my last of 16 sessions this afternoon and got a balloon, shirt, certificate, and song from some of the staff! I see a neurologist tomorrow about the neuropathy. Thursday, I see the radiation oncologist and find out about the radiation plan and then go get IV fluids to help feel better for the trip. In between, I plan on resting and getting ready for the trip. Surgery is scheduled for June 28 and radiation (6 weeks of 5 days a week) will follow healing from surgery.
If all goes well between now and Friday, we leave then (June 8, our 49th !!!!!! wedding anniversary) to go to WA and meet the 3 month old grand twins!!! -- and, of course, visit with their 3 big sisters and our son and DIL. Can't wait to hold those babies!! (Lots of !!! today ) Twins are doing great!! If you know our story, one of the twins was a heart baby and had to have open heart surgery when she was 1 month old. She is doing great and has caught up with her sister!! So many blessings!!
We are so grateful and thankful. Thank you all so much for your prayers and good thoughts. We really believe that has played a big part in getting us to this point. And, please, keep them coming.

Thanks, Sue!
Carkris, they thought before she was born that she had Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. At birth, they decided severe aortic stenosis. A balloon procedure worked for a bit. Then they did the surgery and the 30% possibility worked (separating the two stuck leaflets of the aortic valve). Hopefully, she will not even need any more surgeries now.
I'll definitely post pictures!
