recieve prognosis this afternoon - update
Debbie
Oncologist says the pathologist could not determine the source of the cancer in the lungs but considering Jim's history probably tongue. The oncologist recommended two opptions, with no gaurantees. 1- Erbatox 2- do nothing and have another CT in 3 months to see if the cancer has grown. If the cancer hasn't grown or grown just a little prognosis could be a couple years. Jim chose the do nothing option. This gives him time to try some alternative measures. We are praying for a miracle. Thanks for the prayers everyone.

alternative
One year age we were faced with the same prognosis. My husband tried 2 rounds of chemo then tried a clinical trial at MDA. Both had severe side affects and did not work. As of September 2011 he has been taking 2 alternative products. He sees his onc Dr every 3 months and has a scan. So far all 3 scans have showed no change! He feels good. He takes paw paw pills and drinks Willards Water.

I took Erbitux and I had a severe reaction with a acne type rash...but the onc said mine was unusual and not the norm. Pat could better relay this, but the Erbitux is the only treatment I had aside from radiation and I was stage III base of tongue. I was concerned I did not receive the traditional platinum based chemo drugs but the onc assured me Erbitux was a kind of treatment that prevent the "spread" of cancer by inhibiting it's ability to split/spread thus it "kills the cancer. At least that's the way I understood it.
Anyway....I want you to know prayers are there everynight for you and Jim. I just hate this news, just hate it! And it hurts my heart to hear this news!!!

Hi Debbie,
Heartfelt prayers for both of you.
Matt
Hi Debbie, first let me say prayers are heading your way.
Also please contact me through the CSN email or my presonal
email which is on my profile page. I'm very big into alternatives
and I will share with you one of the most remarkable things ever
for your immune system which I think might help.
By the way, in the Wall Street Journal this weekend was an article
Linking Cancer to a compromised immune system and Brisol Myers
are developing a "DRUG" to try to teach the immune system to fight it,
well thats exactly what I have and have been taking but its all natural
So there is no side effects unlike most drugs.
So if you wish get in touch, you will be glad you did.
God bless
