Hey Anne! was wondering how
Hey Anne! was wondering how you were doing...sorry to hear things are tough for you. I just know it will get better. I really admire your courage to keep going after only five months! I would be a basket-case as I am a devout coward! The good thing about the depression meds is that they don't zonk you out and do take the edge off the emotional roller coaster! I take a little xanax and prozac and it has helped me to sleep and to stop the panic attacks. Hope you are doing much better at your next post! I will be thinking of you and praying for a good out-come! Best, debrajo0 -
Missed you!
Thanks for checking in & letting us know how you're doing. I'm wondering, have you been in less pain since you stopped taking Avastin? I certainly hope so.
Have you started on a second-line chemo already? Sorry for so many questions! : )0 -

Since I have been off the Avastin the pain has gotten better I am so hoping that I can get off the morphine soon. I have started chemo again I started last Friday and I get treatment every week. I am on taxol with a new medication that is so new it does not have a name yet it is called AMG 386 it acts much like Avastin and has some of the same side effects but the one they are noticing most is swealling which my legs have started swealing up so they are keeping an eye on it. I will try to check in once a week so you all do not worry about me.

My new kitten well they say she is a year but she is very small for a year and only weight 5 pounds so I am thinking she may be under a year is doing very well and keeping me laught. I may not need the happy pills with her around, the other night we gave her treats I think it is the first time because she loved them so much that later that night she saw the package on the counter and carried them off to try and get into them. Last night she was chasing a fly and I happen to look up just as she leap into the air and hit the wall spread eagle and then slid down to the couch I laugh so hard I almost wet myself. She is this ball of energy that makes you want to just laugh at everything she does and then she get so tiered afterwards so she runs to me and layes down on my chest with her head on my shoulder and goes to sleep. I will try to post on her daily fun times when I can.

If your kitten makes you laugh that much, maybe this is your Guardian Angel in disguise!! Laughter does a body (and soul)good! Much joy to you both! If you haven't named the kitten yet, may I suggest "Angel"?! Best, Debrajo0 -

to hear from you Anne. Hope things get better for you soon. That kitten sounds like so much fun. I lost my cat of 16 years last July. This is the first time in 27 years I have been without a cat. I am taking a break from hair on the furniture and the litter box. I'm sure I won't be able to hold out too long. I just love them.
