    HIPEC and peritoneum stripping
Hi: I haven't yet had it but am awaiting approval (I have gallbladder cancer with spread to the peritoneum). Yes, HIPEC with hot chemo has had some success after debulking or peritoneum stripping. As far as I know most of the patients having this treatment have been ovarian cancer patients with spread to the peritoneum and appendix cancer patients with spread to the peritoneum.

    Hi ,
I looked at this for my mum and if I could have got it for her I would have jumped at the chance!
I think the side effects are a bit worse , but it's worth it , you get one shot to do all you can to beat this beast , hit with everything you can.

Hi: Check out the ovarian cancer discussion board for lots of information. It's the way I'd go if I could.

    HIPEC
I had this done in October 2011 for Peritoneal Mesothelioma. The first few weeks after surgery were hell, but I am doing well now. I was out of work for 2 months, but I have now been back to work for 3 months and I am not experiencing any side effects.
