Glad this had a happy ending for you! I am an empty nester now but sooo remember the long nights waiting for one of the kids to come home. Shed many a tear of fear and worry!! Maybe you can catch a nap later today, you need that rest!!

I have kids age 20 to 26 right now....so know how those sleepless nights can be. I am blessed to have responsible children also but at that age they are also very independent and their day is usually running on a different clock than ours. A couple are married with children, one is with her boyfriend with a child, one is a single mom, and one is single and lives at home. I lovingly help with all grandkids and have had periods of them living with me. Two of my daughters and one son-in-law are in the military and have been away for training/deployed. I remember one night also calling all friends, sending endless unanswered texts ( which was very unusual), going out and driving around town in a frantic search, crying/praying,....come home to find daughter and friend cooking an early breakfast smiling, laughing, all good but one lost phone and one dead battery!!!0
