Thanks Homer...
...for stopping in. To hear storeis such as your wife's truly help folks like me (newbie) and I appreciate hearing (though that may sound twisted) how long and what symptoms / issues people had ...makes us that are going thru stuff not get as wired as we might when we hear the road others travled and the pot holes they hit.
Wonderful news on your wife ....whispered a prayer as I was typing this that she would "like" you as much as she used to ...being a c survior and a caregiver certainly does affect people ...as I told my wife of 15 years ....there's more than just damage to the body done with this mean disease.
Best,

Great to read this update. Sounds like Connie's doing good. Can take a toll, Homer, and many of us go thru deep Soul-searching and analysis. It is trauma, Homer, and can change us some. You and Connie went thru a lot with tx, and I hope and pray you can look back on it all in 2025 and find peace and love with it all. A bunch of us oldtimers still doing well, and glad Connie is amongst them.

Homer Man...
So glad for the follow-up, I'm glad you are both doing well.
Sorry that the cancer and treatment has put a strain on the relationship. Prayers that through time, love, understanding and the willingness to work-it out you guys will also endure.
Thoughts and prayers your way for the relationship you once had, and an even closer future.
Best,

Hi Homer
I am very glad to hear the good news about Connie and wish you both many many more years of happiness and joy of being C free, just keep God in your lives and he will put back toghter what was broken by the trials. I just wish someday we could all meet somewhere but for now the best we can do is on CSN.
God bless you both in your walk with the Lord

Hi Homer, so glad that Connie is doing well. I always read your posts; she was a bit ahead of me in treatment. I hope that your relationship gets back on track. the battle is difficult as you know and sometimes there is damage you never expected. After all you've been thru, you will find a way to work it out. I know from all of your posts that you have been a great caregiver, so whatever happens, you need to remember that.0 -
Glad to hear
I am glad she is doing better. My dad and mom seems to be going through the samething. Dad does not seem to like mom much since his treatment ended. He is right down mean to her at times. I really agree that cancer takes a toll on more then just your physical body and more then just the patient.
Much love,

Double edge sword
Homer, so happy to hear the good reports on Connie's cancer, but sad to hear about the relationship. I pray there is healing for you both. Maybe some counciling is in order. Start with your pastor if you belong to a church.
Thank you also for the support you always gave me when Jim was in treatment.
Blessings

Homer,
In my mind, you've always been one of the top caregivers around! Glad to hear Connie is doing well and I hope you can mend your relationship as you helped her mend during her recovery.

Way to Go
Homer:
Good to hear from you and great news that Connie is doing so well. You are so right in how valuable this website is. I know I could not have made it thru everything with Charlie without my "CSN" buds. Continued prayers for you and Connie and God Bless!
