Hi Pepe,
Rick and I will be celebrating his daughter's and nephew's birthday tomorrow with his family. Rick's Dad is now home from the hospital after a month (he had brain tumor surgery), so it will be a special day to celebrate all around. (Any suggestions on what to buy a 10 yr. old girl and an 8 yr. old boy???) Or should I just give them money??
My best wishes to everyone for a nice restful weekend.
Cyn
(Pepe, I hope that you're feeling better by tomorrow...)

Have a great weekend and a big hug to both.0 -

Thank you Lucky !Luckygirl2 said:Petite Jean Mountain
We are headed to a cabin between Morrilton and Conway on Petit Jean Mountain for the weekend! Can't wait! We have our food supply and drinks (no 24 pk of beer! :)I pee enough as it is! though, our bicycles and walking sticks, camera and tripod. Hope to do biking and hiking. Husband has already promised breakfast in bed in the morning!
Hope you get to feeling better, Pepe.
I wish you an excellent weekend healthy and with lots of sports!
Take care of you, hugs!0 -
LOL Tori , Its a full,s day plan isn't ?tommycat said:Hi Pepe and Everyone Reading this Thread
Hope you get things under control stat---that is no fun at all!
Tomorrow morning we have a child's birthday party at a place called Pump It Up. It's one of those places with all kinds of big jumpy toys in it for the kids to bounce around on, and to add to the atmosphere, strobe lights are intermitently put on.
(Think I will find a nice, quiet place outside during the festivities)
Tomorrow afternoon is a joint BD party for two friends who turned 40 in May. They are huge Pearl Jam fans and would probably delight in a gift that has something to do with their favorite band, but since I procrastinated, a bottle of wine will have to do.
Now if only we could bring a bottle to the kid's party I could completely avoid the store!
Too tired for me ! Wising you can hide somewhere during the kids party have a big hug! LOL.0 -
What a nice plan Laura!lauragb said:I am going to a celebration
I am going to a celebration of life for my friend and colleague who passed away from colon cancer in December. It will be a true celebration because she was and remains so loved in our community. Her light still shines.
Then I will be going to a concert of a women's choir of which I am a member but this time I will be in the audience since I took a leave from choir this year. I am looking forward to hearing my sister singers make beautiful music.
Hope to spend some time outside too. It is beautiful today.
Laura
Hope you enjoy it and make you feel full of peace !
Enjoy it .0 -

I love this thread! Tomorrow, I am participating In a research study about familial colon cancer in people with a diagnosis of colon cancer, who have a strong family history, but test negative for Lynch syndrome. Sunday, church and brunch with friends. Weather predicted to be picture perfect.
I hope everyone gets some rest and refreshment.

Pepe, I hope you are feeling
Pepe, I hope you are feeling better by now. Today My daughter visiting from PA and i did the manicure/pedicure thing. Took my 3 grandchildren to a fair. Tomorrow my daughters and some friends are having dinner at a Greek restaurant The staff sings, dances, throws napkins in the air and breaks glasses in a can. The belly dancer makes all the men smile and the food is wonderful. I promised my sisters, I would not have too good of a time without them. ; )
Have a wonderful weekend everyone,

3000km family road trip to vegan paradise
At my friends cattle farm 5hours drive West of Sydney over the mountains.
It's cold, fresh and relaxing. The cows are friendly, nothing to fear from a vegan.
The 4wd and trailer with wife, kids and dogs are heading 1200km south tomorrow to the Victorian mountains where wife and I do 5 Days meditation on the advanced anti cancer course. Kids staying with cousins in Melbourne.
Busy but fun.
At great weekend, had some chicken and cake as my friends baked everything fresh on the farm.
First tiny scoop of icecream un a long while, it was great.
I hope you and everyone has a great weekend.
Hugs,
