Letter from Doc
that is indeed awesome. I think I would frame it! I know how excited and pleased I was when my radiation doc drove over 70 miles one way to come to my benefit while he was on call. (this was last year). When I got him up to talk about him, the crowd of almost 200 people gave him a standing ovation and most had tears in their eyes. Caring docs that take the time to write a letter or make a visit are just the BEST! I will never ever forget my wonderful, caring doc as long as I live. And I bet you feel the same.
Keep up the good work!!0 -

He is an awesome doc. I have learnt so much from him. My previous one was good but always in a rush. This doc always chats and puts me at ease first and he actually cares. He's answered ALL of my questions honestly and openly. I was so grateful for the letter. I took a pic of it and have it in my phone with me always. Thanks guys xxxxx0 -
That is indeed good news and
That is indeed good news and a very nice gesture. The best part is no evidence of disease. That is what I looked for on my report and it said something like no evidence of residual disease. Out of curiousity do you also get a PET scan? I know some like Skiffin get alternate PET and CT scans, in my case I get a PET-CT. Anyway congrats!

I had a pet scan 3 months after treatment and the ct scan 23 months after treatment. They scanned brain, neck, chest and abdomen. I asked about a pet scan and he believed it is unnecessary as he regards me cured. Intriguing. And the less radiation the better now. I'm content with that and believe that I'm cured also xxxx0 -
