Val you are too funny...davevg said:Holy crap Val
I'm almost laughing to hard to type hahahaha!!!!!
but Happy Mother's Day to all of my lovely friends on the board. I hope you all have a wonderful day. I am going to an antiques fair in Santa Cruz with my 87-year old mom. I hope I can keep up with her. Seriously, she'll have her walker to sit on if she gets tired. She is in good shape but her legs are kind of weak. I just hope it is not too hot and there is someplace I can rest if I need too. Later on we'll go to dinner with my son. I usually have a gathering at my house but I didn't feel like planning, shopping, cooking, etc.

But I too want to wish all of the lovely women on this board a very happy Mother's Day. I will especially be thinking about the women on this board whose mothers fought bravely but ultimately lost their battle to OVA cancer.

Happy Mother's Day to you, too!
Hello All,
Just popped (or is it pooped) over from the Prostate Cancer forum to say thanks to Val and Carole. I loved both of your posts and got some good LOL moments from Carole’s post! I think most knew that a stray finger was the culprit for Val's post on the PCa forum that was meant for the Ovarian Ca board...but that’s a good thing!
Some believe that only men post (or should post) on the PCa discussion board. I started posting on that forum shortly after my dear husband of 40 yrs was diagnosed with PCa in Feb 2010. I’m a Survivor, too, of a different cancer but, sometimes it can be a real challenge for women to post on a board filled with so much testosterone (with and without ADT!)...but I digress...
Wishing all you brave and courageous women a very happy and healthy Mother’s Day filled with the love and support of family and friends.
All the best,
M (aka mrs pjd)

and welcome to our board. Let's face it we are all in this fight together. Cancer is an equal opportunity beast. It's great to have a laugh together and it's no surprise to me that Val created this one. She is hilarious.

Karen,
This is just a brief visit. I must get going, however, thank you for your warm welcome. Hope you don’t think I’m too full of myself but, I’ve posted a few LOL doozies on the PCa forum also!
I love to laugh. It sure beats the alternative.
