CEA number drops again...!
Stage IV mets-liver and lymph nodes, and I'm on Folfiri and vectibix. This is my 6th infusion, and 6th CEA number and it's dropped everytime. 3 months ago I probably would have said that CEA stands for Colorado Education Association, or Can't Even Add, or Comedy Ever After, but now it's a number I hold my breath to hear the results. Woo-hoo!

Great news, Dan!
Your response to your treatment has been amazing! Wonderful news. Thanks for your support on another thread regarding my daughter - she had the workup today and is a candidate for the procedure and we are very optimistic, as is the doctor! And a friend of mine with stage IV breast cancer also got the news today that her disease is stable and her liver mets can't now be detected. Her numbers are better than ever! Good news all around today.

Sandy -- that's wonderful news! And exciting -- is this something that will get underway soon? Hope so. And great news about your friend too.
I'm not kidding myself -- I know that this is a tough road, but all we have is today and today is a good day. I might need to borrow those boxing gloves of yours someday -- I bet you have a heckuva a right punch, or maybe you're a southpaw. Whatever pack you punch, you're an inspiration! Hugs and prayers.

I'm still relatively new here, but I feel like I'm finding a second home. Thank you all for your information and encouragement. You make me feel much less alone.
