can ovc spread to the breast

in Ovarian Cancer #1
something else to worry about. Just got a letter in the mail that a mammagram I had done last week, they want me to come back and have a ultra sound done. Have to have it done when the radiologist is there so he can read it. Now I'm scared and quite upset, does ovc spread to the breast. Kathy

    I had ultra sound done ans it was benign cysts...thank God. But it scared me as well. Hugs and prayers..val

    Sending you good thoughts and prayers that it's nothing serious. I hope you get your ultrasound soon because I know that the waiting can be torture.

    My doctor said that ovarian cancer can spread to any party of your body and if I get breast cancer it would really be ovarian cancer that has spread, if I got brain cancer it would really be ovarian cancer that spread. I will say this my mom tells me all the time not to barrow trouble from tomorrow, so please it may be nothing don't start thinking right away that it is cancer wait until you know for sure. If it is cancer you can beat it just like you are beating it now. I was not sure if I was going to tell you yes it can because I did not want to upset you but I really feel if someone ask they can handle the answer I hope I was right and did not upset you.

    I'll be talking to my onc. today. They will doing an ultra sound may 18 long time to wait. I'm hoping my Dr can push this date up some for me. I did go to a web sight that listed what cancers spread to where in the body and ovc. was not listed for breast. But it seems to me somewhere I did hear it could spread to the breast too. Thanks everyone I will try not too worry but you know how difficult that is. Kathy

    My sister
    My sister has ovca that spread to her breast. She continued with chemo and as of right now she is NED. Her follow up mammogram was clean.

    its not breast cancer, Dr just called its a lympth node that we already new about close to my chest wall. what are relif. thanks for all the support I really needed it. Kathy

    Dear Kathy I have to let you know about my expirience. I was diagnosed in 2007 in same month with two cancers: ovc stage 2C and breast cancer stage 1. Patalogy report recognise them like two different primary cancers. And then I find out I'm BRCA1 positive. I hope your ultrasound will be good for you. But like other ladies told , if we can beat OVC we can beat every thing others. Love you, my teal sisters, Zina
