I start on that bus ride with all of you! Had my trip and starting today. My session today will be 30 mins. they say and each day hereafter will be 10 mins. We'll drive 45mins to an hour to get there each day but thankful it won't be a all day deal! I'm apprehensive but hopeful and feel I can get through this and pray it'll all be over when I'm finished. The Dr. said my voice may be a little better after I heal from rads. I hope so. But, I at least "have" a voice! Wanted to check in with all of you that have been a fount of information and courage!!

Like the movie...same routine day, after day, after day, after day.....

It's a time where I did little other than concentrate on treatment, calorie intake, tons of water, and healing.

You'll do it just fine, stay positive and like Winston Churchill said, "If you are going through hell, keep going. ...".

    Best,
    John

    Thanks to all
Appreciate the best wishes! Today wasn't intolerable, so I can make the quicker routines for sure. But of course I'm feeling terrific now and I know that won't always be the case, but by then, I'll be counting down the days!!! And I DO trust God, HE'S right here with me, Thank you Jesus!!

John has that right....same thing day after day....a new temporary routine....and time seems to pass....no matter if we're having a good time or not :-). At this moment I'm sitting in my Onc's office starting my third week already...you and I have some good "bus mates" ...we'll hold hands thru this and get thru this together. Glad your first day went well.
