First, let me say how much I have missed you all and how much I love you all! As some of you know, I have been very busy with my collecting of money and clothing for the homeless. I started this a few years back as there was a growing need for it in the communities around here. It is just awful to see men, women and children with not enough clothes on to even keep them warm. So, I have auctions, bake sales, garage sales, anything to collect for them. I find it so rewarding that I can't even begin to tell you how it makes my heart happy to be doing this.

Second, I found another lump and was scared to death. It was small, but, as many of you, it terrified me that my bc was back. I had a mammogram and an ultrasound and they showed something, but, couldn't verify that it was bc. So, off to the surgery room I went to have it removed. My poor husband was just a basket case as was I.

Drum roll please! It was a stupid cyst, but, thank goodness it was just that. It was not bc! Whew, did I feel lucky and so blessed.

I hate these kind of scares, but, I had to get it out, just to make sure.

So, that is where I have been and now I plan on popping in more often to keep up on all of you.

Please know that I have missed you and pray for all of you every day and night.

    We've missed you! So unhappy to read that you went through this scare without the support of the pinkies here. We would have gotten the pink bus out and decorated it with sparklers and everything. But, I do understand.

    Very happy to read that it was just a cyst and nothing more. I can imagine how happy you and your husband were to get that report.

    How kind of you to help like you do with the homeless. It just shows how wonderful and kind you are, as if we didn't already know that.

    Good news that your scare is over and it turned out to be a cyst. I would have been nuts worrying. I hope you celebrated!

    Your town is lucky that you are doing so much for it. I wish I were more involved with something to help others. Maybe someday

    How much you wanna bet?
    Those homeless folks probably were praying for a blessing upon the person who helped get them the clothes. Now of course the scare was not a blessing but the results were.

    I used to be scared of the word cysts, before that my diagnosis that was! Now when I hear it, it's a blessing. Interesting how perspectives change after this, huh? Just happy you are healthy and living life.
