some good news
I have recently read of some members who are afraid to check this site because we have had some sad news. Actually, I was one of them. To those of you who believe in the power of prayer, prayer works. I am not going to testify of the many miracles I have had in my life, but I do want to tell you that after my 5th chemo(stopped at 5 because of bad side effects). I had a meeting with my dr. and he said "well we gave it everything we've got and there is a very good chance that your cancer will not come back" I feel so blessed!! I am 1A with cancer limited to the uterus. my lymp nodes and pelvis wash were all negative. I decided to attack my cancer through prayer and believing in the Lord to heal me. When I first heard the C word I thought I had only 6 months to live. We have an awesome God. The closer we get to Him, the closer He gets to us. I do not want to go on about my faith, but please send me a message if you want to hear more. I had my surgery Nov. 11th, 2011. Peace to all

wow, I just realized my surgery was the on the 11th month, the 11th day of the year 2011. I don't know if that means anything, but it is an interesting fact.
Fanniemay,
I agree there is such positive energy in prayer and faith. I struggle with trust and faith sometimes so your post is helping me alot. Thank you. I think 11/11/11 is a powerful number and I'm glad to hear of your positive attitude and positive medical result.
Please add me to your prayer list. Hugs to you. Mary Ann0 -
Hi Edith
Its so good to hear from you, and I'm glad you're done with the chemo. Are you having any radiation? I just finished my last brachytherapy internal radiation today. I am glad that's done with.
I could have never made it through this cancer journey without the Lord, all the bad days and nights with all the side effects, I prayed to God to help me get through this, and I believe he carried me when I could no longer walk. When I couldn't sleep with insomnia, I had God to talk to and there were times when I thought I could hear him say, you will make it through this, and eventully I would fall asleep.
Edith, I agree with you, we do have an Awesome God.
Hugs and prayers to you and all our board sisters.

Thanks so much for sharing your healing and how prayer has helped you! I know the prayers of people have held me up through my cancer dx, surgery and Chemo. It's the grace of God that gets me through those times when I feel so crummy. We all need that hope of healing and that's what keeps us going I think. The love of our Father be with you and bless all of you!0 -

Mary Ann, Keep thinking positive thoughts. Don't let the devil or evil thoughts bring you down. You are in my prayers. Edith0 -

I had to quit my chemo at 5 because of the bad side effects. Yes, the Lord carried me through my journey also. We are the same...when I can't sleep I talk to God and also listen and watch Christian videos on youtube. How did the internal radiation go? I have to make an appointment for my first one soon. Nice to talk to you again. email me whenever you want. Edith0 -

Hi light42day, So happy to hear that you also look to the Lord for healing and that His grace keeps us all going. I just have to remember what Jesus all went through on the cross for us and my sufferings seem so minor. God BLess0
