What a Day!!!

Just thought I would let you all know that there are some truely wonderful people
Out there.
Today I got called in to my local pub which was filled with about Eighty of my friends
From all different pubs and other hangouts, and they were doing a fundraiser for little
Old me, yes me.
There was the full police pipe and drum band (bagpipes) all in there kilts playing, there
Were door prizes and raffle prizes and a silent auction. The organizer charged $20 per
Ticket which got you two drinks and he was selling lots of raffle tickets.
I got to see a lot of friends that I hadn't seen for a while it turned out to be one hell of a day.
I did get on the mic to say a few words, after all they did present me with the money
That they raised (Just under five grand). This was a gift from them so that I didn't have to
stress about bills and just concentrate on getting well again.
God does bless people, and today he blessed me.
Like I said in the begining there are some wonderful people out there.

    Oh Dan...what a wonderful gift....
    in SO many ways...the friends, the caring, the knowledge that you have touched lives far more than you ever knew...the money is nice, I know...but all the other stuff is priceless. Your post has me smiling BIG!
