Today's my day!
I think about all of you a lot - and the support you've already given me! I hope to be that same support to all of you as I start my journey.
I'll be back later today! Thanks again!
Love,
Jennifer

Fight Like A Girl!
Another "Pink Bus" trip! Hoping your chemo goes well for you,Jennifer, and not so many side effects that you can't handle them. The first is always the worst, I think? It's been 5 yrs. since I had my chemo and I can't remember it that well now. I can blame it on "chemo brain" now. HEEHEEHEEHEEEEEEEEEE !!!!!!!!!!
Best of luck with your "fight"!

Robert's right. The first is the worst. I'd have given anything to not be in that chair that day, but then I realized if I weren't there I'd chance losing everything and that was not an option.
To borrow my granddaughters' cheer - GO, FIGHT, WIN. Sorry that was cheesy, but the sentiment is good.

You're gonna do this, girl and you're gonna be just fine. I can tell by your "can do" attitude.
Take good care, rest, relax and let others help.

Thank you everyone!
Thank you for all the good thoughts and prayers! I can honestly say that I felt them all today!
It was a little overwhelming to find myself sitting in the chemo chair, waiting for my turn. I fought back the tears - hard!! I just want to stay strong and I know I can do this! I do have my moments but I think that's okay too!
It was actually a bit of a relief to have the first chemo. Sometimes the unknown is worse!
Now the unknown is how I will feel afterward but I'm armed with all the meds, etc. to hopefully keep that away!
I so appreciate the support from all of you!
Love,
Jennifer
P.S. I had posted on my FB wall this morning that I was going to "kick *ss". A friend said she was going to tell it like it is "KICK ****" so I've decided to do the same!0 -

Ok for a day or two anyway because of the steroids they put in to combat nausea. Then in a couple of days you'll need to lay low. At least for a couple of days you can get things done. Just don't over do it.0 -

You did it! I do think that first one is the hardest, like with any of our treatments as you just don't know what to expect no matter what anyone tells you.
Good luck and keep kicking!
