Friday the 13th of April will be a good luck day for Fishknees as she will get rid of her unwanted parasite once and for all. She will no doubt do well because she knows what to do. She is smart...she found this site, she asked questions, she was upfront with her doctor, and after she will follow their instructions for the best results possible. She will let others at home wait on her and help her. And...most importantly, she has our prayers and thoughts going her way and she will ride the wave easily. And after, she will give us her experiences and be continued to be supported every step of the way! Good luck and speedy recovery fishknees.

Good luck from over the Pond too.

That's a very good regimen you've set out j_rod and I hope she follows it religiously.

    Fishie...
Follow the path JR has laid before you and you will be back to your ol'self before you know it. I know that you are stressed to the extreme right now, they will give you something before surgery tomorrow to help settle you down, tell them to make it a double. You are going to be fine and soon you will be wondering what you were so worried about, just hang in there for a few more days.

    Good luck and Godspeed,

    Gary

    Thank you
Thanks everyone for the well wishes.

I will try and obey but I am not real good at that.

I just got back from Mayo for blood draw for the blood bank. Then they give you a little bracelet to wear. God knows what would happen if you lost the bracelet. That tells who you are and you are ready for surgery.

Like I am going to give this to someone to wear and tell them to go to Mayo, they have a little surprise for you. (LOL)

Well tomorrow is the day. I am past ready to get it over and done with. I am sure all will go well.

Thanks again for thinking of me.
    Have a great day!

    You go Fishknees!
Do us proud. Sail through this weight reduction procedure and then tell new members what it is like.A pinch here, a jab there. Sort of like a high school date. Check in when you feel better. We've got your back.
    Love ya,

    Keep everythimg in perspective
    fishie,

When you wake up you will feel lousy for a few days. Then day by day things get better and you will wonder why you were so worried in the first place. The transformation from having cancer to having had cancer makes it all worth while. Sorry about the initiation though. Best wishes for a full and complete recovery.

I am home! I am so glad to be home.

Thank you all for your wonderful support and prayers. I know it helped!

I am doing well. Friday the 13th is my lucky day from now on.

I will find out what the pathology report said sometime this week.

I am taking pain meds and doing little walks around the yard. I am so glad to get home to get a little rest.

Thank you all for the wonderful support. I don't know anywhere else you could get this. People who know what you are going through is a great thing.

Well back to the recliner. I have found it is better than flat in bed.

    Thanks again.

    Fishie,

That wasn't so bad was it? Maybe I should wait a week or 2 before asking.

    Good for you!!!
    Fishie,

Piece of cake, right? Glad to hear you are doing so well, not near as bad as you imagined was it? Keep up the walking and increase as comfortable and don't forget to drink plenty of water, both really help the recovery process.

    Welcome back,

Thank you everyone. I am glad to be back. The alternative was even worse than the diagnosis.

Walking has been pretty easy. Sitting is the hard one.

I do see I require lots more rest. It is like being hit by a truck.

Thanks again for the welcome back. Now I have to just wait for the pathology test.

And you'll do equally well LD. You know all the protocols and you've just had some encouraging examples to follow, so all is going to plan.
