WoooooW great reason to celebrate Judy!jjaj133 said:Hi Pepe, I will be
Hi Pepe, I will be celebrating a clear CT scan!!! woohoo. It has been almost a year since my 2nd liver resection.
I am feeling very humble, given all the sad news here. Like, Mags, I don't know why, but I will make each day count.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.
Hugs and prayers to all,
Judy

Nooooooooo Ketz I need you here! hahaha!ketziah35 said:I have been sick with asthma
I have been sick with asthma since February; going back and forth to thee doctor and emergency room. Your jpurney's has given me strength on mine. I am going to try to relax. I am on my second round of sreroids. The first round I was given 50 mg for 5 days and my broncbial asthma didn't get better, I have had xrays and they were negative; so don 't be surprised if you don't see me for awhile.

Working
I am working to make up for Wednesday when I gave myself a heart attack! Trying to build my hours back up so I can take a vacation thus fall! But my sweet husband is going to work with me so we can be together! I think he is a keeper! Spending your Saturday inside a correctional facility while your wife works on paperwork is not everyone's idea of fun!
I hope everyone has wonderful weekend!0 -

You got it my friend. I will have a drink for all of us. A toast to the courage it takes to travel this road. A toast to the friendships formed, and one for the friends no longer here.
That is about all i can handle without falling down ; )
Hugs

My non-special "special" stuff this weekendpepebcn said:So.....enjoy the " special weekend" K1!
May be a nice walk? how is weather there?.
Hugs my friend.
Here in the U.S. it is tax filing weekend so my husband while he is home this weekend is going to work on the tax return and I'm going to try and do some things on my own at home and stay out of his way :-)
I'm going to do some laundry. I'm going to start back a second time sorting the too-many Christmas decorations that have been sitting in a room waiting to be sorted since January. I am going to cook a meal for both of us at least once this weekend, and it will involve chicken and veggies is my plan. I am going to brew some strawberry tea and make a pitcher of it for iced tea to drink all weekend.
See, nothing really extraordinary, but stuff I haven't even been able to do for myself these last few months in treatment Each day I grow stronger and stronger post-chemo and am able to do some things from my old life like these for myself.
It's spring and warm weather. I think it will rain on Sunday is what the forecasters say. If so, I'll go outside and catch a raindrop on my tongue! And I'm serious about that, too. I love rain because we get so little of it here in Texas. I like to smell it in the air before it starts; I like to hear the drops hitting the window pane and see them splashing on the sidewalk. And I'll drift off to sleep in a nap if it pours for a while, with my dogs snuggled up next to me, of course (doesn't everyone enjoy a daytime nap when it is raining?).
I'll wear shorts and flip flops in the house. I'll watch out the window for the chickadees that have taken up residence in a birdhouse in the backyard (the babies have hatched so there is an uptick in parental feeding activity).
There you go, Pepe, all the special non-special stuff I am planning to do while trying to not take life for granted each day like I used to before cancer.

Hey Ketz, I'm sorry to hear that you're not feeling well, I hope that the good doctor can get your asthma under control soon. Rest up now, and finish your book. :-)
All my best,
