So sorry...
Hi Denise,
Bummer...I hate to hear your in the hospital. I know it's hard, but while you are there they will make sure you are getting good treatment and special care. I didn't have any problems with my blood counts during my 6 rounds of chemo. I did knowtice that I bruised very easily and the few times I knicked or cut myself, I seemed to bleed more. Rest and take care of yourself and hopefully you can go home in a few days. Let us know when your home. Much love...Sue (FNHL-2-3a-6/10)0 -
Hey Denise
Hi Denise
Sorry you're in the hospital but it's probably the best place
for you to be for now. As a nurse told when I had to go in because
of a fever, "Better to be here for a few days and get this taken care
of than be here for a few weeks because something got out of hand..."
If you can and feel up to it, walk around at the hospital. Heck, I drug
that IV pole around with me like a "siamese twin" during my treatments
(which were in the hospital). I explored until I got bored, met some other
patients, chatted it up with some of the nurses, etc. Walking also prevented
me from having to get those shots in the hip to prevent blood clots too .
I know being there is not fun but hang in there!
Sending you sunshine and big hugs...

Sorry to hear Denise
Really sorry to hear Denise that your in the hospital. I had that problem many years ago, the Dr's wanted to do a bone marrow transplant but Thank God they gave me a medicine which really helped me out (I haven't had a problem in years).I will be keeping you in my prayers, sending only positive thoughts your way! Take care sweet lady and let us know how things are going!
Sincerely,

Oh Gosh, Denise. I assumed you were able to walk around.
Hospitals are big sticklers about "fall risks".
Hopefully you'll be out soon.
Hugs,

Denise,
Sorry to hear of your fall and your being in the hospital! But as others have said it is the best place to be right now until those numbers come up. Take care and try to rest.
Hugs and prayers,
