Tonados ...
I live in Dallas ... and it has been a nightmarish afternoon. Three tornados have touched down all around my office building and just learned that my parents skylights/roof and their cards didn't survive the baseball-sized hail.0 -

Didn't realize you were also in that area.
Glad to hear that you and the folks are ok, even if there was some property damage.
Craig lives in the Arlington area.0 -
Thank You, Marie:)
You're a dear for thinking about us. We were lucky...some gutter damage from the winds but the tornado hit a couple of miles west of us in the SW part of town....did a number in Arlington with some major damage. It destroyed a nursing home in that part of town too - ironically, it was the place I almost moved dad too, but did not because we found a closer place...it wrecked that place up and displaced those residents.
I-20 is a notorious area for bad weather and storms...we're at the tail end of "Tornado Alley." A few miles east of us, Lancaster was hit hard again...and heading further east, Forney was devastated.
I work in Irving and bad weather struck there too with baseball sized hail...I got a few hits before I found cover....but Kim's car was "Hammered" again with hail damage everywhere...she was hit by hail not too long ago last year and had it fixed...and whammo again.
We had power out and I logged on and saw this message and wanted to let you know we are all okay, so thank you for thinking about us. Rough and tough day for many who were not as fortunate as we found ourselves.
It was a week ago 12 years ago, when we had our tornado, an F3 twister...I feel for those folks, because I know what lies ahead and what it takes to recover from something like that.
Jas - I'm glad you are okay too, sorry about your folks damage...
Take care, Marie.

Glad you made it thru all that Craig.
Same front heading our way (Corpus Christi) south of you but no heavy stuff. In fact we sure need some rain here bad.
Guess the worst part has moved east by now.0 -

Sorry about Kim's car, but so very glad that you all are ok and had only minor damage otherwise.
I remember your sharing your experience about your fav F3 and was praying you didn't get hit again.
Heart goes out to those who have lost so much.
