A vent...and a rescue!
Later, Staceya called and happened to mention just calling the Cancer Info Center, and see if they could do anything for me. OMG...they are little firecrackers! Within two hours the RN from there had walked over to the ENT's office and picked up all the papers I'd left there, plus a copy of their file....already had the CD Rom in her hand....and was on her way to get the pathology slides sent off to another area of MD Anderson.
Next time I'm at the ENT's office I'm taking a stack of the Cancer Info Center's web page to them, and tell them..."you need to give one of these to each and every cancer patient as they walk out of your office." It would save the girls in the ENT's office from appearing like such duds....all cleavage and no brains (and that's no joke).

FYI
At my facility (and I presume yours), everytime I get a CT or PET, I stop at the main desk when leaving. I ask them for a copy of my scan and report. They take my info, have me sign some release forms and usually it's ready for me to pick up in 24 hours.
They have it available for me the same time it's normally ready for the MD.
I have all of mine...over 3 years.
Also, I have always asked for a copy of my blood work since day one. Each test before chemo and every follow-up. I probably have around 20 - 25 of them now.
They all make a good point of reference of your progress and history during the phases of before, during and post treatment.
Best,

I am so glad that worked! I feel like I just keep giving you lists of things to do.
I have someone calling the doctor who went to MD Anderson for his treatment and hopefully he will be amenable to being contacted by you for a conversation.

LOL Deb....D Lewis said:"Who ya gonna call? ..."
Well, now you know. Go get em, girl! And, if you can't get em on your own, call in the right reinforcements.
Deb
and to think I wouldn't even have met Stacey if I hadn't joined this group! Now instead of griping about the ENT's office......I'm going to "hep-em" by taking in my stack of printed out sheets...
