YAY! Paul - Yee Hah!
Oh Paul! Congratulations!!!!! We are so happy for you. Actually, we are very, very happy!
You were one of the very first to write to us on this site and you have kept tabs right along. Don got the pathology report today Not so hot - we are awaiting an appointment with the radiation oncologist - the tumor board recommends additional radiation as the report said that cancer was in the esophageal margin. The nurse wasn't real informative - but we see the chemo onc on Wednesday and then will see the radiation onc at some point. Of course, Don is still in the healing process so nothing will happen right away.
But! Knowing that you have done so well and you had follow-up chemo - gives us great hope. Tomorrow they are calling for rain - so maybe we will just go ahead and dance in the rain.
Love ya buddy and congratulations - you managed to put a smile on my face today and I would not have thought that was possible - so thank you!
Happy NED and many, many more!

Judy,
Yes I got some "not so good" news in my pathology report as well. Of course the last thing I wanted to consider was follow up chemo. But I did it; and it appears so far that the chemo did what it was supposed to do. Tell Don to concentrate on healing first. One day at a time.
You are both in my prayers daily, now I have something very specific to pray for.
Best Regards,
