Results of dad's CT scan

in Head and Neck Cancer #1
Dad's scan was clear today. His doctor told him he had three choices.

1. He could stop chemo completly and wait for another occurance

2. He could have started again with no break on a lower dose of the same chemo

3. He could take a two month break, then rescan and go from there.


Dad and the doctor felt the best option for him was 3. So dad will have a break until June 2 when he goes for another CT scan.

Thank you for all your prayers and please know my family is praying for all of you.

    Great news to hear about your Dad, Im a newbe to this blog site, to early to know my full diagnosis will no more after my Doctor visit on April 12th, but my CT Scan last week was the information to know something is wrong. So I look forward to the day my CT Scan duplicates your Dads(Clear) Thanks for sharing and your prayers...God Bless you and your Dad, um sounds like he already has..

    for your dad...and a breather from treatment. Hope he doesn't have to go any where "from there"!!

    I was thinking which option would be best if it were me...

    I think #3 is probably the best approach as well.

    It gives a little time to settle out, take a breather and make sure that nothing develops.
