Worry!
I have to say that I find worrying is about the most useless thing I can do. Sometimes I get really caught up in it and then I try to just stop, do the next right thing, and know that's all I can do. It takes practice but I've been doing this 3 times over a long period of time. I'm still here. After two very recent surgeries, I'm doing pretty well. Today was a beautiful day and life is sweet.
Good luck,

Pam: I agree worrying only makes things worse.
I try to focus on things I can control or change and not that I have NO control over..

Hi, In Feb. 2011 I began treatment for Stage3 Anal Cancer (chemo/rad)....got pretty sick, but eventually began recovery, then Feb. 2012 diagnosed with a low grade, slow-growing rare "secretory carcinoma" of the breast and just last week had a double mastectomy. My husband has been batteling "Multiple Myeloma" a blood cancer and just underwent a bone marrow transplant in Dec. of this year. Worry ?????? To be honest YES...but I make a point of trying to keep things in perspective and put it aside. I recently told my doctor that I will do what I can to be healthy, he should do what he has been trained to do as best he can, and after that it is out of our hands. Sometimes that is easier said than done, but I do try to put the worry in the back of my mind and more positive thoughts to the front. Hopefully in time the worries become less and the healthy happy times become more. Best of luck to all and always in my prayers!0
