CEA went up 5, it is not attootsie1 said:Oh, dear
Praying you show huge improvement!

CEA went up 5, it is now at 18.3 from 13.3.. Scans in 4 weeks, then if something shows up on the CT them radiation and avastin/zofran.
The ONC is trying to pin point where the cancer is before wiping it out with chemo, he really wants to zap it first.
HE also told me to keep up the low dose asprin.
pink himalayan sea salt --- Pete, I do use that in my food as a sprinkle. So I don't use much.0 -

I'm sorry it didn't go down by 5 points...
Forgive me but I don't recall where the spot it, is it your liver? When you say radiation what do you mean? It's not a RFA, correct? Has that been discussed at all?

My husband and I were really hoping that your
cea would go back down. At least it sounds like
your onc is going to do the best for you. My husband is
going to have his cea checked every 3 months since it
was stable then started up...not very high but still hard
not to worry.
Wishing you the best.

I am ahead by 9.5, better luck next time, sorry about the rise but still want to have the highest score. I honest would drop these dumb troublesome cells into a nuclear reactor if I could. Radio therapy is close enough. My point is I am kind of angry how much power these results have over our moods, mine in particular.
I am trying to meditate the little suckers into hell and put them down the dunny where they belong. I hope your Cea goes down, this might be a flare, that they don't find anything because our bodies have done what they are supposed to do with bad cells, kill them.
A new definition of cancer.
Our good cells are too compassionate to kill these bad rogue cells.
So everytime I meditate I think of my departed friends here and at home and I tell my white killer t cells to go sick em , to search, find, identify and then bring the killer t cells with lots of nitrics oxide to finish the little bastards off.
This aggressive visualisation might even work. It's based on some courses I did and training. It's also perversly satsfying.
You are doing a fabulous job raquel, don't take your off the health ball.0 -

Raquel, is the radiation going to be in the form of CyberKnife treatments, or something along the lines of IMRT radiation?
Zofran is a nausea medication - it's quite effective by injection - pretty good by pill too.
Best of luck with the treatment if it should come down to that.

Well crap. Hope nothing shows up but if it does, then I hope it can be zapped.
Hang in there.
Thinking of you and sending light your way.
