and you know my situation.
You know I can't make it
without you!
Comfort my heart,
Give me Strength,
and help me carry on.

    We feel the Lord has gotten us this far, after receiving just devastating news about
    Benjamin, only to have everything turned around for the better. Reading your posts about your precious daughter's road to recovery are heart wrenching, but very helpful to others who are starting out with brain cancer. You sound like an amazing mother, who is always right by your daughter's side. Benjamin tries to be the tough guy, doesn't want his mother to know he is hurting, but I hug him and tell him I love him everyday :o) No matter how old our children are, they are our hearts, and we will fight with every breath we have to see them recover.
    I have to say, this site has really given me doubts, it seems like every area of the country has different methods of treatment, and items my son's doctors point out as
    important for recovery are blown off by other physicians on this site. Our children are
    not Guinea Pigs, but human beings that deserve answers- and not deal with some doctors
    gigantic ego. Reading how some of the brain cancer patients suffering so many side effects, if our day will come also, where Benjamin will suffer these side effects, it seems like things are running to smoothly- makes me scared! I lost my mother to leukemia when I was newly married, due to the doctor make errors. Have a real trust factor going on, even though Benjamin has John Hopkins, Mayo, and Roger Maris Cancer Center all working together for his benefit. It's the what are they not telling us!!!
    I do pray everyday to stay positive : YOUR CHILD WILL HOLD YOUR HAND FOR A LITTLE WHILE BUT, WILL HOLD YOUR HEART FOR A LIFETIME, AND MAY IT BE LONG!

    I am so glad you are able to find comfort in this prayer. Another one we recite daily is this one:

    GOD OUR FATHER
    WALK THROUGH MY HOUSE
    AND TAKE AWAY ALL MY WORRIES
    AND ILLNESS;
    AND PLEASE WATCH OVER AND
    HEAL MY FAMILY
    IN JESUS NAME
    AMEN!

    Another good one Carol. Prayer is so powerful. Sarah is walking around singing we are the Champions song. I love it. She said she is a Champion over her cancer. she is making me laugh tonight. I would have to say my prayer for the day is answered. I send prayers and good thoughts to you and Ben. May God Bless you.
