In memory of my mother
You were a precious gift from God above,
so much beauty, grace and love.
You touched our hearts in so many ways,
your smile so bright even on the bad days.
You heard God's whisper calling you home,
you didn't want to go and leave us alone.
You loved us so much, you held on tight,
till all the strength was gone and you could no longer fight.
He had called your name twice before,
you knew you couldn't make him wait anymore.
So you gave your hand to God and slowly drifted away,
knowing that with our love we will be together again some day.
To my mother and best friend. I will see you again someday.

    I hate you cancer!!!
    I am so bitter and depressed. That damn cancer took my mother and best friend away from me. I will be completely lost without her. My dad is a total mess and I am very worried about him. Cancer you have ruined our lives…I HATE YOU!!

    And I'm so sorry. Take a deep breath. You and your dad will be okay, even though it doesn't feel like it now. Hang in there. I sure know what you mean about cancer.

    Oh how we all hate cancer it is a mean and cruel disease that takes so many good people away from their families. May your mom now be without pain and suffering that cancer brought. I pray for your well being. Jeff

    The lose of a loved one is the most difficult time.

    I hope that you and your dad will soon be able to understand that while she is no longer with you physically, the best of her will always be in your minds and heart.

    Please concult your local cancer society for help with dealing with this grief. It may help get over some of the roughest spots.

    Your mother may be gone, but she is gone in body only. She will always be with you and your father because you have memories. No one or anything can take that way from you. She will live on thru you and your father. As time goes on and the hurt starts to fade (just alittle) you will remember the fun times and laugh. Life will go on and your mother will always be with you. My sympathy to you and your family.

    It's good to let that anger out, and this is the place to do it, among friends. If you felt a calming pat on your hand, I was mentally sending one out to you, to let you know we're here for you during your time of sorrow.
    A loss of a mother is a terrible thing, I lost mine last year, I think of her everyday still, when I come across something that would make her laugh, or something I want to tell her. Sometimes I cry, and sometimes I smile, it's just hard when it's your mother.

    I want to thank everyone for their kinds words and prayers. Had it not been for this board I probably would have lost my mind. Lets keep fighting together to find a cure for this damn disease. Love everyone here.
