Ultrasound questions
The Thyroid is Heterogeneous. there are at least 3 small nodules is the right lobe. A lymphnode in the palpable area measures 1.4x0.9x1.0 The node has preserved fatty hilum but is slightly lobular then typical.
Can anyone shed some lite on this. The odds of me getting Kidney cancer were small, and now I am concerned that I am going to have to do this again for something in my neck.
thank you and God Bless

Welcome....
I can only tell you that nothing is certain until you have confirmation. So in thhat respect, I can only offer that while I can understand your anxiety because of prior history, that doesn't mean what you have going on now is cancer.
So thoughts and prayers that you are still and will remain cancer free.
Best,

The fact that you have multiple nodules is favorable as the presence of several large nodules is more often a benign condition known as multinodular goiter. The preserved fatty substance is also favorable as the loss of fluid is symptomatic of a cancer diagnosis. It's all conjecture on my part so continue to follow up with your doctor. Congrats on beating the kidney cancer!0
