I'm hoping you don't have to face more
problems, but I'm sure you can handle it with grace if need be. Anyone would have nerves waiting around to see what our doctors have planned for us and I'm thinking that might be what's affecting your appetite. Maybe try small meals every couple of hours? My blood pressure mysteriously rises as soon as I enter any doctor's office. That internal stress is hard to turn off. At times like this I keep chanting to myself Carlene's "Not everything ic cancer".

Good Luck
I know I can imagine every symptom they tell me so I try not to read up on the side effects of my chemo, I would hang on to your clean ct hopefully nothing is going on but if it is at least it something small that can be dealt with. Waiting is the worst it drives me crazy, try to keep busy. This is such a diabolical disease, the ups and downs are horrible ! I am hoping for some good news for you we are due for some!

Maria,
I was at my pain doctor's office today and they took my blood presure and it was 137/97. The man taking my blood presure just kinda looked at me and I said "no it not always that high my average blood presure as been aroun 110/65 it's this office" lol so I know what you mean about it.

I will keep all of you updated and waiting is the worst part I try to keep my mind off of it but it always seems to go rigt back to it. Thursday is just meeting with the doctor to deceided what kind of test we will run to see if the cancer is back then I will have to wait until we get the test results back so it is going to be a lot of waiting.

Sending comforting thoughts your way. Hope all goes well with your appointment on Thursday.

It has been moved to Monday we all got the stomach flu that was going around, which is so funny since my mom and I do not get out of the house that much. I was thinking about how we could have gotten it.
1. Dad brings it home from work.... no he is not sick
2, Got it last time I went to doctor....no that was to long ago
3. from the delivery man who delivers my groceries....no he seemed helthy
4. from touching our mail..... could be you never know what is on their hands.
So even if you are a shut-in like my mom and I you can still get sick from strange places.

Yuk! Stomach flu is no fun. And I'm sure you were disappointed that your appointment had to be switched. But, sendinglots of hugs and prayers to you, Anne. My appointment is next Wednesday, and I'm have a few 'issues' that are starting to concern me. So, we'll hold hands together next week, okay?
Will be anxiously awaiting your report.

I hate it when appointments have to get postponed. And waiting - don't get me started! I'll be thinking of you on Monday and hoping for a positive course of action for you. Keep on truckin'! I admire your strength.
Cheers, Jo
A lot of times, the "stomach flu" is actually food poisoning...watch out for cross-contamination on the cutting boards that are used for food preparation. In our house, we have different colored cutting boards so we only use the red one for meat the yellow one for veggies or fruit.
Often the same people can eat the contaminated food but only the ones with weak stomach acid suffer the food poisoning or stomach flu symptoms(which is really a reaction to some kind of bacteria).0 -

different cutting boards I had never thought about doing that it is a good Ideal. I will have to talk to my dad about that. Right now he is doing all the cooking my mom is also on disability so since my illnes he has started doing the cooking. Mostly we crock or chichen and it goes from package to pot and we do not use a cutting board but I will tell him to be more careful. You always have good information and I want to thank you of that.
