Nothing exciting, nothing planned. Happy birthday Tommycat, rollerskating, with leg warmers, just curious did you ever wear those suspenders too. Funny cause I've seen leg warmers at some of the stores around x-mas time....everything makes a comeback. I still love the look of legwarmers....gonna have to find something to do I have scans on Wed. gonna need a distraction from the anxiety, it will be six months off chemo. for this stage 1V'er.

home from wonderful sunny Florida.....we had the best weather....not a cloud in the sky. There was a nice salt water pool where we stayed....and a lovely patio. I always find it astounding that you can live in a climate where you move freely from the indoors to the out with your bathing suit on.....today ii is snowing and blowing so sweaters coats hats boots mitts scarf and you are all ready....hahahaha take me to Florida......

Maggie, It has taken me for ever to get caught up on the forums posts I have missed, but I knew by the time I got up to date you would have already reported you had a great time! And look at you already wishing you could go back! Get back in your bathing suite and go out and make snow angles by the mailbox! Let the neighbors talk!

hi Rick......yes the trip did me a great deal of good.....gave the old confidence a little boot in the butt.....get out from under those covers cancer person and face the airport....hahahah...thank you my darling but I think I will pass on the snow angels today...we are in a Colorado low ....I suspect part of the system that has been causing storms and tornadoes for you.....

yes it really did me good.....I am currently waiting for Kathi M to send me a nice big fat cheque.....she recommends more exotic places so i am so going to cooperate....:)
my darling daughter had to buy my Florida ticket....hahahahah guess I am just not stretching the old age pension cheque far enough.......

well Dec 3rd is the day i was dxed and put in the hospital for emergency surgery, and a er doctor is the one that told me i have colon cancer, and i am very thankful for a great doc that night someone was watching me cause where i live the hospitals are very little and if you do not have insurance the way i did not they "band-aid" it and send you home. if it had not been for that wonderful woman i would be dead now, i started my first chemo on Feb 13Th. and this week which was Mon-Wed i have chemo every 2 weeks with folfiri combo.
