Sounds like stable...
which is not a bad thing. Way better than doubling. Sending hope your way that the dietary changes bring it down again. Hugs-Ann0 -
looking for Dr Goodwrench
didn't double like last time
Last year my wife's CEA had been stairstepping with several +- constant readings and then a double or +50% in a single reading over 2-4 weeks. At CEA reading of 13-14, got a CT and they frigging missed the massive para aortic lymph nodes! After 2nd radiologist's identification, I burned ground time to finally find a surgeon who would remove as much as possible. Surgery rather than count on chemo or radiation. Most surgeons refused, all oncologists sneered or pushed their particular service despite expected failure. Ramped up chemo slightly including the cimetidine, increased targeted supplements, some probably beyond most people's "max", made arangements with a lab for chemosensitivity testing (like Weisenthal Group or Rational Therapeutics) and got the surgery (on CIM-UFT chemo!) despite even the (co)operating surgeon's warnings on systemic disease in the lymph system and likely peritoneal spread/invasion (still none) from initial dx.
I suspect each of her CEA stairstep to perhaps represent some stage of rapid development/escalation for each of her largest lymph nodes, 2 cm or more. Chopped 'em all out, ca 30-32 grams.
Good last scan several months ago. Added more select supplements and immune stimulating PSK type mushroom extract, along with Biothera Wellmune WGP beta glucan. CEA has recently collapsed to 1.7, lowest since dx and post surgery CEA minimums.0 -

Of course it would have been better if it had gone down by .2 (or more) but the increase was slight.
You can't go wrong with berries!

Really just
Supplements
Really just sticking with, Turmeric, Milk Thistle, D3, Calcium. Lots of Berries, Red Grapes, Pomegranates, and greens. Every now and then a remember to do the Aloe.
Waking a lot at work. I have a plant and 2 huge warehouses that I walk each day, I could use a golf cart, but I don't. It's beneficial to me and and lets me interact with all the employees.
My work goes by so fast, doesn't stress me out. I do wish that I had time to just do what I want each day, which work around my house, but I need my insurance and the money isn't bad to have. Maybe once I hear Chemo again, I will change my mind. The summer is coming up at it will be 12/7 for 3 months. I work for a great group of people/Company who are so understanding with their employees and their health.
They aren't self insured with their medical plans so I'm sure that easing their mind just a bit. :0)0 -

I had copied down your list of supplements before, thinking about when I'm done with chemo.
Thanks for posting your latest info. Although we don't know each other, I have been following your posts waiting for news. Stable is good. Maybe next time, there will be a downturn in numbers. Sounds like you are doing a lot of good things to stay healthy and it's always good to hear of understanding employers.

13.1 vs 13.3
this might not mean a thing....all lab measuements have a certain amount of error associated with them. If they run the same blood sample through their analysis multiple times they will likely get a slightly different result each time. In this case we don't know the typical error, but the lab could provide if asked.
