My Chemo buddy lost ...
Nathan went on to have a bone marrow transplant and was doing quite well when just after this past Thanksgiving the beast appeared once again.
After fighting so very hard, he lost his battle on Valentines day.
Please keep him and his wife, Sandra in your prayers - she's having a really hard time - he was 38 years old.
Thank you
-Jenny

Keeping them
This is a tear jerker.Happy though you knew someone going through what you were and his wife was so supporative and stayed by your side.
Keeping his wife and family in prayers. Also you and your husband who lost a good friend. I know the 4 of you had so much to talk about and got very close. The terrible beast hit 2 families at the same time and both went through treatment together. It probably helped by having a chemo buddy to deal with the treatment both of you were going through. I was fortunate not to need chemo but would have been livid doing it on my own.My friends and niece had it but they are in remission and have been for years.I am just a 2 1/2 year survivor.I did though have my friends and niece tell me chemo wasn't all that pleasant.
Thoughts and and Prayers to her family and you and your husband. You are going through a very hard time.

I am so sorry to hear this. It sounds like a lifetime friendship was in the making and I am sure Nathan had comfort in his final days knowing Sandra had such great support in friends like yourself. My condolences and prayers to the family...

Too Soon
Jenny, I am very sadden for your friend Sandra and your loss of Nathan. He was too young and taken too soon. The whole world is diminished by this tragedy. Praying for God's Grace and Love to help you and Sandra to overcome your sadness. Celebrate the life he lived and the dreams he had for your recovery together!

So sorry for your loss. Unfortunately this disease just seems to do its own thing. Sounds like both you and Nathan had an excellent support system and were very fortunate to have your chemo's together. I will keep all of you in my prayers, he was so young.
