Health care and prayers

in Ovarian Cancer #1
Just wanted to share my joyful news.I get to keep my car, I get to keep my car :). I did get AHCCCS and my doctor co-pays are going to go from 50.00 to 5.00, my medication co-pays are going from 20.00-70.00 to 2.30 per script. I also do not have to pay a premiume not sure I spelled that right lol. So instead of paying 476.00 a month for health care I pay nothing I am really rejoicing in what God was able to do for me. I do have a prayer request I know you all know that my ca125 has raised and has yet to stop going up last test it was up to 69 before it started to rise it was 6. I am now having a strange head ache that I have not had before so it could be one of three things. First it could be just from the avastin it is know to do that but I have had the avastin head ache since I started avastin so I don't think it is that, second it could be that the mussel on the right side of my neck is so tight it is causeing this strange head ache, or third it is a cancerase tumor on my brian. Ovarian cancer is know for doing that and my doctor asked if I wanted a MRI to check for the tumor, there is a part of me that is scared that it is a tumor but I don't want to just jump to it and say yes so we are going to get the results from the blood draw today and depending on if it is still rising then I will need the MRI of my brian please pray for me that it is not the last one. I am going to talk with pallative care they have a gal that will come out and do a massage so I am going to have her out for that and see if it helps. I love you all and thanks for all your prayers it means the world to me.

    I'm so glad you get to keep your car and that your monthly health care costs have dropped to $0. That's one less thing for you to worry about; you have enough on your plate. I'm hoping and praying that your headache is due to muscle tension or something else that's easy to treat. When I'm really stressed or anxious, the muscles in my neck and shoulders get very hard and tight and I sometimes get a tension headache. Aspirin or ibuprofen don't help. The only thing that helps me is to relax, usually with the help of a massage from my hubby. So, I think that's a good idea for you to get a massage and I hope it helps with your headache.

    head aches
    I know head ache I have had migrianes since I was eight years old this one is really different as it sits on one spot about the size of a quarter. I have had tension head ache and this is kinda like it but then kinda not. I am praying for just it being a tension head ache and nothing more. Thanks for you kind words much love

    Anne, I am so glad you get to keep your car. And also about your healthcare. Very good news. I normally don't get headaches but recently it seems I get one every once in a while. I think a lot of mine is stress related and I could use a massage too. I am praying for you Anne. We will get through this together.

    Anne I am happy that some
    of your worries have been alleviated and pray that you get more good news soon. I love that you still have a sense of humor. Without that I am not sure how we would all survive this.

    anne...i'm so happy about
    anne...i'm so happy about your good news regarding your medical expenses. it's bad enough to deal with all the medical stuff, but to have to worry on top of everything else about how to pay for it is in itself enought to cause some major headaches. please have your doctor order an mri...i did....chances are it's not what you are worried about and at least you will know and be able to stop worrying about it. you are in my prayers.....we are all in this together.....karen

    Hi Anne, That's such great news about your insurance and car! God definitely answered your prayers. The Avastin does cause headaches. I get them myself and ibuprofen relieves them, but I also try to relax and think positive thoughts. Being anxious and worried seemed to make them worse. Remember, God has provided for you before, trust in Him to relieve the headaches also.

    Yeah!! This is happy news and must be such a relief. A massage sounds real good, too. Stress makes everything hurt more. I try repeating to myself over and over what Carlene always says " everything is not cancer, sometimes a headache is a headache ". It doesn't always help relieve the anxiety, but I give it a shot.
