in Lymphoma (Hodgkin and Non-Hodgkin) #1
can anyone tell us any stories of success on Treanda?? we re considering under going this chemo regiment,, we re waiting for biopsy to tell us exactly what disease we have to battle.. I see that the side effects are varied from person to person.. any input would be much appreciated.. thanks caregiver..

    Hi caregiver,
    Welcome to the group. I have not had any experience with Treanda..my chemo was CVP-R. Up in the right hand corner of the page you will see a place..Search CSN content. Click on it and then type in Treanda in the key word search box. You will see many people from the CSN group that have posted their experience with this form of treatment. This is the first place I go to when I want information about chemo drugs. It beats going on the net because the information at CSN is from folks that have done the treatment.     there s not a lot to be found, the ones i did find seems to be people that was treated during the last year, but I ve sent some messages to some of the ones i found, hopefuly I'll get some some replies.. this is what these sites are all about is people helping each other.. I ve found its a family of its own kind.. we got close to some of the patients down at Jewish Hospital in cincy ohio.. I wish we had known of this site then, we might have been able to keep in contact with some of them.. We also found people we knew that had cancer that pass away suddenly while we down at the hospital, and that puts cancer in real prospective.. thanks caregiver..
