Liver Resection - religious - UPDATE
Please send up prayers for my husband that he comes through this well and let him be NED.
GOD has brought so far... I believe HE will continue on with the miracle only HE can give us.
Thanks for all the support!
God's blessing to you all.
Brenda

We are on day two post surgery and there has been some ups and downs. He wasn't having good responce to pain meds yesterday so they gave him something different at 2am that caused some arythmias* at 3am, needless to say we aren't using that one anymore! They gave him some heart meds and it put things back to normal but it scared the dickens out of both of us.
The good news is that his liver functions are good and his phosphorus levels are low (doc says the liver uses phosphorus for regenerating so that is a good sign)they are replenishing them through iv.
Oh! btw doc says that his liver looked even better than it did at embolization back in January and actually showed me pics of what she resected. She could see no evidence of cancer in what was left behind.
His ile take down went well and seems to be working with the exception of bowel control, Doc says this will come in time.
It's really hard to watch him go through all of this but I am so thankful he is willing to fight to stay here with me.
So, that is where we are... I am in a silly fog and spent quite a bit of time searching for the cell phone that I was talking on (get it guys? it was up to my ear while I searched my pockets and purse) all the while growing more and more frustrated. LOL
I thank my LORD for all of the gifts, even my goofiness. I welcome you to join me in singing HIM praises!
May he bless you all!
Brenda

He'll be out soon and then
He'll be out soon and then you can breathe a sign of relief. You and he have certainly had a tough few days. I'm thinking about you both and sending another prayer your way.
All my best,

More prayers going out here in Missouri. You have come so far and he is being given this chance - prayers for more miracles for you. Hang in there, Brenda.
Prayers coming from this way, too. These long days can take a toll, but should have a good end result. Praying for that.0 -
