Have I told you about my black boxing gloves?

A package arrived for me one day (with a little pink angel known as Ayse's return address). Low and behold--there were my Everlast black boxing gloves! They are studded with pink and silver and glittery "diamonds" and one says "Renee" in pink glitter and the other says "Believe" in pink glitter. I totally love them. Ayse says others had a hand in this as well (sweet Sue was mentioned).

Anyway, this is going to be my fighting ritual. Before I leave for any treatment appointments, those gloves are going on and I'm going to punch the h*ll out of my strongest pillow--symbolically knocking that pathetic cowardly beast to the curb!

To any and all who had a part of this--thank you for the inspiration and courage to keep on fighting.

And, dear Ayse--you're just the sweetest.

    Hooray! Jazzed to hear your prize fighting Pink gloves have arrived! Clever Ayse was behind the whole idea and she got the Pinks to join in on your symbolic gift. She is such a treasure and a love.

    Renee, I, too, am so glad they arrived and you liked them. The picture Ayse sent us was a gem. Couldn't we post that picture? I am somewhat computer challenged, so not sure I could do it.

    Keep up the good fight!! You've got the most rockin gloves to accomplish that task!!
