Hi all:
It's finally winter time here in GA; going to 19 tonite! Wanted to update you on a few things. My sister's friend Fred got a good report yesterday. They feel they got it all from the surgery and no further treatment necessary at this time. Unnfortunately, Eddie, on the other hand is not doing well. He had one treatment last Friday and they couldn't do his treatment yesterday because of blood counts. They feel it's spreading pretty rapidly. Gladys (his wife) says he is a real trooper. And because of kidney issues, they can't give him the usual pain medications. I'm planning on seeing them Monday so will report back then. Please keep them in your prayers. Nephew Brian may have to have more surgery on the bad leg but don't know yet. Seems some things are doing really well with that leg and some haven't done much at all; so don't know about that yet. Will see him next Fri/Sat. when I go up for great niece's play in high school. Have a great weekend and God Bless!
