Embolization #3

Last week, my wife underwent an embolization for tumors in her liver. The interventional radiologist (IR) said he hit the spot he wanted. So after being discharged, we get home and she is having some severe abdominal pain.
Long story short - prior experiences are not an indicator of current effects. The prior procedure was so easy we boarded a flight to Hawaii a week later. This time, she is on some serious pain meds and happy to take them.
The oncologist said the IR was aggressive in going after the tumors, so we feel good about that.

I am glad that your wife was able to have the procedure and I hope it is a complete success. I hope her pain alleviates quickly. Perhaps a quick trip back to Hawaii would help....
All the best,
Amy
I'm sure my wife would LOVE another Hawaiian trip LOL
